Freshly Picked -Review

I don't know if you have realized it or not, but we are in LOVE with Freshly Picked Moccasins. We have featured them on the blog several times and have expressed our love for them. We finally got a pair of platinum moccasins in size 2 -woot! woot!-, since Mia is still a baby girl. This color is available for $60.00 and are a courtesy of Freshly Picked

When Freshly Picked sent us this beautiful pair of moccasins to review on the blog, we were thrilled!

For those who haven't heard of them, Freshly Picked is a company started by a mom named Susan Peterson who started making baby moccs for her baby when she noticed the lack of cute and well-designed baby shoes out in the market. Even though a few years have passed since she first started, and it's been a complete success (this moccasins have been featured in 'Parenting Magazine', 'IN TOUCH', 'US Weekly', 'People.com' and 'Keeping up with the Kardashians'), the team at Freshly Picked continue to hand-make each pair of moccasins in the U.S.A.

We received the pair of moccs in a soft envelope, and inside a cute little bag with the Freshly Picked Logo on it. What we love about this moccasins is that you can tell just by holding them how soft they are. When we put them on Mia, she was so happy that we knew it was because of how soft they are and she was liking that. With most of the other shoes Nana Velasco has tried to put on her, Mia has cried! With this moccs it was completely different, she couldn't stopped touching them, she was clearly enjoying the photo shoot!

For those with little babies! soft-soled shoes like this ones are the perfect shoes when the baby is crawling around the house and learning to stand and walk.

They have a hidden elastic around the opening of the shoe making them easy to put on and take off. When the baby stands, the shoe creates like a little pocket on the sides allowing air in to cool their feet.

We def chose the platinum moccs because they look good with everything and they even show off  her gorgeous blue-eyes ;)

The only con we found is that it is difficult to know which shoe goes on which foot. You really need to look at them to see the curve that tells which one goes where. However, it wasn't a major problem.

To add up, Freshly Picked moccasins are the best shoe's she had so far! and for that reason we don't want to be selfish with our readers. Thanks to the Freshly Picked Team one lucky reader is going to win one pair of moccasins of their choice.

The way to enter this GIVEAWAY is by using the PunchTab below! Our only condition is that you have to be following us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (@trendykiddos).

One winner will be chosen at random on Thursday,  April 24th.

Good Luck!

**Please note: We have received a free product to review, but the opinions expressed above are 100% ours.

Puzzle Stacker - Square

Courtesy of giggle

I have always being biased towards wooden toys instead of plastic toys. When it comes to your children, nothing's too good for them, and that is why you need to think carefully even when buying toys for them.

Unfortunately, these days, literally well over 80% of the toys offered are made of plastic and metal. Natural wood toys are nearly non-existent. I really don't understand the reason why that's happening. Wooden toys are not only more durable, but they also encourage your kids to use their creativity and boost their fine motor skills.

Simple activities such as this eco-friendly puzzle stacker ($30) can educate your kid. If you check the image, this toy puts a great spin on the classing ring stacker by enhancing the kid's spatial logic by interlocking the wooden puzzle pieces to form rings.

This wooden toy is not only full with texture and character, but it is also fun and full with colors. Today, I encourage you to give some wooden toys to your kid and stimulate their senses in a positive way.

Natural Feel Baby Bottle

Transitioning from breastfeeding to bottle-feeding is always problematic. Doctors suggest the best way to switch over to the bottle is to introduce it while you are still breastfeeding. With Comotomo Baby Bottles  this transition could be easier. The bottles feature a sensible design to closely mimic natural breastfeeding. The silicone nipple and the skin-like, soft and squeezable body is ideal for babies. These bottles are quipped with vents that are smartly designed to prevent colic and they completely eliminate leaking.

Decrease baby's emotional need to breastfeed by replacing it with the Comotomo Baby Bottles
