On my way back to Sydney from LA (15 hrs flight), I was looking at this mom few seats behind me struggling with her baby. I couldn't stop thinking how tiring and frustrating must be to have a baby on your lap for such a long flight. Very fortunate, this mom was able to change seats and they let her have not only a seat for her but also an extra seat next to hers to let her baby sleep.
Even though she was lucky, I'm sure not all moms would have her same luck. Sometimes flights are full or the staff would not be as helpful. For that reason, we decided to do some research and we found the
FlyeBaby.
This product is an original portable, hammock-style seat, which creates a secure and comfortable place for your baby while on the plane. It can also be used as a convenient highchair at airports or other places.
It folds up for portability and fits perfectly in carry on luggage.
It is to be used during the cruise portion of the flight only (The crew would not let you use it during taxi, take-off, landing or turbulence). Like a car seat it has five point harness system which keeps baby secure if you want to have a rest.
You can get this ingenious product for
$44.99, and remember HAPPY BABY = HAPPY MOMMY :)
